There is something wrong with the Ministry. They are panicking, they are paranoid. They're acting like You-Know-Who has a reincarnation...and perhaps he has.
The Muggle World seems to have become aware of what's happening behind the doors they can never open. They have set up 'The Facilities', and they are rounding up people that have been registered as wizards under the Ministry. In their developmental facilities, they seem to be developping something...but what?
Hogwarts is cast under gloom and doom. The Purebloods connected to the Ministry know what's going on. They refuse to admit that the Muggles might possibly overpower them. The rest of the student body lies in ignorant bliss, unaware that their magical freedom may come to an end sooner than they thought.
